Chest Mounted Tactile Scanner-Tablet

For my second project I wanted to make it fully focused on functional design. I was inspired by designs that can unfold and have multiple forms. I got the idea to build on to the existing chest mounted tactile tablet device used in the military and implement another function, scanning. Because of the tablet arm weight, I had to build a suitable vest to create balance. The vest became a key part of the design and functionality. I wanted to make a character who would wear this gear and that resulted in the making of garments and its functionality with the monitor arm in mind.

I modeled in Blender and made the clothes in Marvelous Designer. The character is from Daz. The boots and backpack are from sketchfab,
